Computer Graphics Reel – GLSL Shaders (2017)

At the start of 2017 Michael began teaching himself how to program fragment shaders using GLSL. He programmed a new shader for each of the next 365 days starting with 2D black and white compositions, and rapidly advanced towards his goal of programming 3D color animations. The following reel contains the several pieces from his journey into graphics programming. All of these animations were generated algorithmically using a combination of ray tracing techniques and signed distance functions.
